General Meeting Information

Save the Date for the 2021 Annual Meeting in New Orleans!
November 12-13, 2021

ASORN cordially invites you to the 45th Annual Meeting this November 12-13 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

This exciting two-day program will offer a diverse range of cutting edge education targeted for beginner, intermediate and advanced level ophthalmic nurses and technicians.

A Message from AAO:

Hurricane Ida and AAO 2021

New Orleans did not have significant damage from Hurricane Ida. The flood protection system designed after Hurricane Katrina worked exactly as planned. The biggest challenge was power outages, but power has now been completely restored to the city. New Orleans is open and ready to host AAO 2021. We look forward to bringing our community together, where all of ophthalmology meets®.

Health and Safety

Your health and safety are paramount as we prepare for the world’s largest gathering of ophthalmologists:

  • All attendees must be fully vaccinated, and masks will be required.
  • Rooms will be designed for increased physical distancing and cleaned between sessions.
  • Hand sanitizing stations will be available throughout the convention center.
