Membership Committee


To develop and implement activities to recruit and retain members of the organization on an ongoing basis.


Under the direction of the Chair, this committee will be well versed in the member benefits of the organization and market them, set goals for recruiting new members, develop and implement innovative membership marketing strategies, promote membership renewal at Annual Meeting, encourage current members to renew membership by end of calendar year, liaise with Provider Unit Director to keep pace with latest member needs assessment surveys so they can be addressed, make appropriate recommendations to Board, ensure membership recruitment materials are available at all conferences / meetings where ASORN is represented. If possible, staff booth with committee members or enlist volunteers, welcome and provide support for new and international members at annual meetings, enlist other volunteers if needed, contact members delinquent in renewing membership to encourage renewal and encourage members to participate in organization's activities.
